Squeaky Beach - Australia's best beach for 2024

Annual "competition" for the best Aussie beach is an arduous and subjective task, as apparently we have 11,761 coastal beaches – which happens to also be the greatest number of any country.
Recently I heard Squeaky Beach has been named "Best Australian Beach for 2024", and it happened that I was there just a couple of month ago! (1800km far from my home). The beach is located on the western side of Wilsons Promontory National Park, Victoria.

Squeaky Beach garners its name from the acoustics of compressed quartz and silica sand underfoot and is recognisable by the impressive, coloured granite boulders at either end, what is typical for Wilsons Prom.

I agree, it is very beautiful beach with white sand, - no wonder, one of the most photographed beaches in the Gippsland region; obviously I was lucky with weather and spectacular sky.
Note, this beach is not patrolled, could be unsafe for swimming at strong currents.
