This glass coin bank was awarded to charter members of The Coal and Coke Museum Association of Pennsylvania in 1969. It is made to resemble a coke oven, which was a big part of Pennsylvania history in the late 1800's and first half of the 1900's. These banks had a limited production run and are very rare.
