transporter RAC 111T - a photo on Flickriver

            Last one for this session, and a local one that follows me everywhere, with Lee Fairhurst from Bolton. Another B10M, of course, it was a one-owner coach in its PSV life, with Scotland & Bates of Appledore, Kent, new as FKR 732Y. In 2003, it was converted to a transporter, still based in Kent, and came north after 10 years, to replace the Fairhursts' trusty Bedford / Willowbrook Spacecar, which was starting to show its age a bit (how could you say such a thing about a 38-year old Spacecar ?), and which Lee's father Derek had run since 1997. This will need to keep going past 2030 to match that !
