New House Painted with Light - a photo on Flickriver

            Totally didn't buy this house, but I'm glad, because I love the house I couldn't sell!  <3

Is it weird that I wanted to buy this house, specifically, because of its symmetrical house number and look?  :)

Slowly transferring pieces over from deviantART, this image was taken back in 2005.

Original notes:  It's pretty dark, just the light of the moon, and I'm freezing my fingers off.  I forgot that dark shots need to be manually focused...auto-focus doesn't work well in the dark.  I remembered this AFTER I fiddled and froze!  :)  

SO...I was only able to get a few of these pictures, but this one came out nice.  I hand-painted the upper window and the front door with the same Mag Light I used in the previous series.  Everything else is slow-illuminated by the moon.  This is all on-camera, no modifications at all except for resizing to 750x500 and straightening with the Adobe Straightener tool (camera raw straightening is lossless, I hear)!

P.S.  Can't believe I forgot to mention this...but this house, which is currently "in drywall," is potentially my new home, if I can sell my current home in a timely fashion!  :)
