Railway ephemera from my archives
Here we have a TOPS report from the late summer of 1990. The only two Class 40s remaining on the BR books were celebrity loco D200 / 40122, which was preserved at York, and D213 / 40013 'Andania' which had been used for static display at various rail events, but is listed on TOPS as located at Sheffield (FT - Freightleiner terminal?) and 'TO BE SCRAPPED'!! Fortunately, both locos survived in running condition into the 21st Century.
