The Pinta - a photo on Flickriver

The Pinta

            Beautiful historic replicas of the Nina and the Pinta visited Marietta this past week Oct 21 st through Oct 23, 2018.  I took these photos from near the dock and from across the Muskingum river.  I would like to have gotten closer specifically, down on the dock to get some better photos, but that would have cost me $8.50 admission just to get down on the dock, so I respectfully declined.  I figured they are still trying to raise money to pay back the queen of Spain for their original expedition. Perhaps I should have paid though because they say that from the crows nest of either ship you can see Columbus, Drumroll Cymbals crash , Ha Ha.
