Elf Fantasy Fair, Haarzuilens 2013 Elfia (4)

            Elfia is a place which manifests itself and is accessible for humans only once in a while. When it opens, entrance gates appear. These entrances are a kind of twilight zone where humans can enter the realm and get in contact with the other inhabitants of Elfia. Since 2009 this happens twice a year. In April this ‘waiting room’ reveals itself on the ground of Kasteel de Haar in Haarzuilens, Utrecht (Netherlands).

Elfia is een gebied dat slechts eens in de zoveel tijd zichtbaar en toegankelijk is voor de meeste mensen. Er ontstaan dan ‘toegangspoorten’, een soort tussensferen waar wij mensen binnen kunnen treden en in contact kunnen komen met andere bewoners van Elfia. Sinds 2009 gebeurt dit twee keer per jaar. In april openbaart deze ‘wachtkamer’ van Elfia zich op het landgoed van kasteel de Haar in Haarzuilens, Utrecht (NL)
