Emerson Inn, Rockport - a photo on Flickriver

            The stair hall at the Emerson Inn in Rockport, Massachusetts.  The hotel was originally known as the Norwood, but was substantially rebuilt in 1911.  It was called the Hotel Edward until 1965 when the hotel was renamed to honor one of its most famous guests.  The current owners have invested much time and money to bring the property to more modern standards while still retaining the charm of the past.
