Out on a limb - a photo on Flickriver

Out on a limb

            I really went out on a limb last weekend to get this shot.  The base of the log had wedged itself perfectly between huge rocks and other downed trees to create a nicely positioned and springy diving board.  As soon as I saw it I knew why it was there -- to stage some photos.  There will probably be a few more uploads eventually but it’s going to be hard to decide which ones.  It may be hard to tell from the picture, but the pool directly below the log is clear and deep.  The perfect way to wake up after a short nap!
