We both can talk Leica’s all day...and one of these days Hal might even sell me one...after I hit the lotto!

I visited Hal again in Walnut Creek yesterday, enjoyed talking with him on the Leica Q2. Nearly 3x the megapixels as my Nikon Df and quite a bit smaller.  Since I’m used to the 28mm focal length, the Q2 is on my mind. We both have similarities and differences. Hal told me he also shoots mostly in a 28mm focal length but in Color JPEG format since he has the high megapixels, one less step at the computer. Although I also use a 28mm focal length,  I don’t have that luxury with my 16mp Df and will continue to shoot in the RAW format...what’s a few extra steps. If I had the Q2, I would probably also shoot in JPEG but in Monochrom, even a lesser step on the computer. The Leica Q2 is something to think about for the future.
