Better haul ass, lil guy - a photo on Flickriver

            This is my Wildlife of Route 66 portion of the trip. I had the encounter with the Annoyed Owl in Glenrio. And then just down the road I saw this little guy trying to get across the road ("Why did the turtle cross the road?"), and then further down the road I see this car stopped right in the middle of the road, a man standing next to it.

Wondering if they needed help on this deserted stretch of route 66, I stop and roll down my window. Its then I see the man has something in his hand.

"Look, I found a rattlesnake." he says, holding it out.

"That's okay, I don't really need a closer look."

"Don't worry, I cut it's head off."

"Oooohkay. You have a good day sir." I said as I quickly rolled up my window and sped off.
