Something About This Cave - a photo on Flickriver

            On our way out of Los Vaqueros Watershed two days ago, we saw this cave down a cliff facing west. It was quite a distance and would require some scrambling on a steep slope and bushwhack a bit to get to the cave. As we were exhausted from the hike, we decided not to walk back and get down to have a closer look of the cave. Instead I took out my telephoto and captured this shot of tit. It appears there is some kind of a disc near the entrance. I couldn't tell what it is. Perhaps I 'll save the up close and personal exploration until next time. Originally, we were set to find Bob Walker's cave. But it turned out to be at a private ranch. We then decided to move on to Los Vaqueros and completed the Whipsnake trail loop. We saw some mounds down there and were not sure if they were Volvon burial sites since this trail is quite close to the Volvon Village which is now completely barred from public access for fear of vandalism. 

Do you see anything inside with your keen eyes? Also if you look toward the left in this photo, I think there is a bird nest in that hole.
