Apple Green in the Brecks - a photo on Flickriver

            BR Thompson Class B1 61306 "Mayflower" leads 1Z67, The Easterling railtour, towards Norwich and Lowestoft around the sweeping curve in Thetford Forest, East Anglia.

With the exception of the the A4's, and maybe Tornado, Mayflower was one of my favorite steam locomotives caught on any railtour. The LNER Apple Green livery it wore reminded me a lot of Flying Scotsman's, plus it just stood out against a bleak winter backdrop. It's a shame it didn't run more during 2013 and 2014, but I'm glad I got to see it on the mainline.
