Sous le château de Vufflens bâti au début du XVe siècle par Henri de Colombier (Michael Schumacher, pilote de Formule 1, y a habitée avant de déménager à Gland).

La ligne Bière Apples Morges a été construite en trois étapes à voie métrique, sa longueur totale est de 31,8 Kilomètres, soit 19,1 Kilomètres de Morges à Bière, construite en 1895,10,6 Kilomètres de l'Isle à Apples construite en 1896 et de 2,1 Kilomètres de Bière à la place d'armes de Bière construite en 1997 (embranchement réservé pour les trains de l'armée).
