Grand Canyon 01 - a photo on Flickriver

Grand Canyon 01

            Nothing can quite prepare the viewer for a first site of the Grand Canyon. If only because its so huge. My first view was from a helicopter, so the skies seemed big too.
Later I got see it from one of the standard viewpoints and this should not be derided just because lots of other people have trodden the same spot.  Instead soak in the atmosphere - light but most of all the timeless feeling.

If there is a place on earth where creationism can be kissed good bye this is it.
