            This is me at the age of aprox. 25, I make the guess because of the leather sofa, me and Meri carried that home and after the "young ones" moved out I cut it up and disposed off it..

...Jimmy had spent a week in this damp and remote jungle village no...

He had gotten bored by the looks of that sparsely bearded  Mug of their leader as some religious leader...

They offered him milk, or was it milk, was it from a human or a cow...

...food? no he seldom got food, but they gave him birdseed to thew on, that was not food...

Just sitting here in a small shelter guarded every day just wearing a loincloth, hearing the Zombie-like villages singing their praise many times a day made his gut twist and twirl in his belly...

the worst thing of all was, that he couldn´t communicate with them, he didn´t know what they were gonna do with him, why didn´t they kill him as the others?

well some communication was made, when they fed him the meager milk and the birdseeds...

Then one of the guards used to say: "eat Merican, eat!"
probably the only words he knew in english. Jimmy had tried to communicate with him In German, French and what ever han-Chinese he knew, he even tried writing to him in latin letter, he had seen that they used these in their odd language, since it was written under their icon, probably the name of the cult leader, but there was an unusual  amount of umlaut dots and apostrophes jolting out in every direction which made it resemble chines signs crossed with western script...

...where  they gonna keep him here for ever? couldn´t they do something, something to change this grinding bore...

He wanted to say, Hey just execute me,  this is torture just letting me rot away here in this hut...

...at first he had some hope to the heap of children visiting his "prison" children usually want to communicate, they are curious and usually are less reliant on words for expressing themselves...

Not these kids, they would usually just stand there eyeballing him and laughing...

Meerican, Meerican....!
that was the only thing they would say except for words in their weird language...

Once he snarled towards the kids, but that didn´t pay off either since one of the guards hit him on the jaw with his rifle...

when was this gonna end...?
