Cataloochee Glow - a photo on Flickriver

Cataloochee Glow

            The Cataloochee Valley glows in golden sunrise light at about the same time each year when the conditions are right.  I stood in a very similar place at almost the exact same time last year, and the light is almost identical.  The elk is a different bull, and he is just hanging out this time...but the light was special.
