Mosquito-sized Dance Fly (Empididae, Diptera) in the Oregon woods

I believe from the round head and flattened proboscis that this is a mosquito-sized Dance Fly in the family Empididae. It's on a leaf of Wild Huckleberry (Vaccinium ovatum, Ericaceae) near our cabin in the Oregon woods. I've gotten a lot of photos from this shrub, probably because it's where I take my morning cups of coffee when it's not raining, so I'm in no hurry and looking close. I find these flies at home too, either working the willow catkins by the creek, see this photo - or living as predators, see this photo. They are interesting flies, so HFDF!
