Estrenant la nova variant - a photo on Flickriver

            La 335.029 de Continental Rail amb un Teco de Bilbao a Barcelona ha estat dels primers trens de mercaderies a estrenar la variant que recupera l'antic túnel de via única de Costablanca, en desús des de 1985. Aquest dissabte 20 d'agost s'ha posat en servei el traçat de via única entre Martorell i Castellbisbal, que permetrà reformar totalment el túnel existent de doble via. A la foto el tren de mercaderies a punt d'entrar a la boca oest del túnel de Costablanca, de 877 metres de longitud.

La 335.029 de Continental Rail con un Teco de Bilbao en Barcelona ha sido de los primeros trenes de mercancías en estrenar la variante que recupera el antiguo túnel de vía única de Costablanca, en desuso desde 1985. Este sábado 20 de agosto se ha puesto en servicio el trazado de vía única entre Martorell y Castellbisbal, que permitirá reformar totalmente el túnel existente de doble vía. En la foto el tren de mercancías a punto de entrar en boca oeste del túnel de Costablanca, de 877 metros de longitud.

The locomotive 335.029 of Continental Rail with a Teco freight train from Bilbao to Barcelona was one of the first freight trains to run the variant that recovers the old Costablanca single-track tunnel, disused since 1985. This Saturday, August 20th, the single-track route between Martorell and Castellbisbal was missed into service, a fact that will allow the existing double-track tunnel to be completely refurbished. In the photo the freight train about to enter the west side of the Costablanca tunnel, 877 meters long.
