Yes I know its another staircase :-) Anyway I found this little beauty of a staircase here in London after doing a bit of research of staircases that I have not photographed. This is a small staircase in comparison to others I have taken lately but its such a work of craftsmanship. I love the way straight bits of wood come together and form such a curvaceous staircase, its wonderful, the detailing is perfect! Believe it to not its the same wood that makes this staircase all the way up but its the placement of lighting and angles of wood that give the wood different colours and tonalities, again the architecture has really thought about the detailing when they designed this staircase.

It was a joy to work on this image, great fun. My only self criticism of this image is the bottom righthand corner where the light from the windows has beamed in causing the wood to look slightly cooler in colour in that area, I have tried to correct it as best as I can but I think the only way to completely eliminate this is to come back at night or close the blinds/curtains, which I am sure I didn't see or wasn't possible and am sure would get funny looks even if I tried lol.
