Scarborough South Bay, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England

Another image from my Scarborough series. These clouds were zooming across so were crying out for doe long exposure action. At first I wasn't too sure on this image but I grew to like it and it worked best with a B&W conversion.

I am really enjoying using my new ProStop IRND filters but I find when stacking them I do get a little light leakage from the strong sun from behind me between the 100mm filters. I have been told to use a cloth to cover over the gaps but it just kept blowing off, has anybody get a better system in order to prevent light leaking in?

Location Information
Scarborough (/ˈskɑrbrə/ or /ˈskɑrbərə/) is a town on the North Sea coast of North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, the town lies between 10-230 feet (3-70 m) above sea level, rising steeply northward and westward from the harbour onto limestone cliffs. The older part of the town lies around the harbour and is protected by a rocky headland.

With a population of around 50,000 Scarborough is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast. The town has fishing and service industries, including a growing digital and creative economy, as well as being a tourist destination.

Inhabitants of the town are known as Scarborians, or as Algerinos by people in Whitby. The origin of this nickname is thought to come from a ship called the Algerino which sunk off the bay of Scarborough; the locals at Scarborough refused to assist the ship in peril and fishermen took a more dangerous route in a lifeboat from Whitby, to the coast of Ravenscar, in a successful effort to save sailors of the Algerino. In an attempt to rid the town of the embarrassing story associated with the nickname, some inhabitants proposed that Algerino was a promiscuous individual of Italian descent who is supposed to have lain with many Scarborough females whilst their partners were at war.
