Gone for a colour upload today :-) Now this image might not be your 'Cup of Tea' for some of you but its really growing on me this image. Originally a conventional an commercial office block from the 1980s and recently renovated and completely redesigned inside and out to create this master piece. What caught my eye when I took this was the circle of people below. I was up on the 5th floor if I remember and these people below where waiting in the magnificent atrium/hall below (uploads of this place little later) to come up to where we were.

Me and Mark Hepples got absolutely soaked on the way to this building as the heavens just opened and continued for the time we were in this building, not that we were complaining as there was lots to photograph. I have gone for a HDR process on this and reason for this is that I have experience in the past that these concrete walls naturally framing this image bring out really interesting detailing when done in HDR, hope you agree. However if it wasn't for the people below in this image I think it would be a little less interesting. I hope I have shown how people naturally interact with their environment within a building. The question I ask myself here is why did they stand in a circle and not any other shape?

Information
Angel Building is the reinvention of an early 1980s commercial block on a prominent but under-used site at the corner of St. John Street and Pentonville Road in Islington. It now contains 260,000 square feet of high specification office space, with café, specially-commissioned works of art and large rooftop terraces affording spectacular views over London. The existing concrete frame has been reused and re-wrapped with a highly energy-efficient glazed skin. The building’s envelope has been extended at selective points to create a better fit with the context formed by the surrounding streets.
