The Golden Girls - a photo on Flickriver

The Golden Girls

            Meet Marshmallow (right) and Sasha - our Haflinger buggy horses. I call them the Golden Girls. This past Sunday, we were getting ready for church at 5:30pm when I looked out the bedroom window and saw this scene. The golden, setting sun was lighting up the weeds and the horses were right in the path. Fortunately, my camera was on the bed and I grabbed it and shot this out a double-paned (and dirty) window! The weeds were not dodged - they were literally on fire. There were more on the far left, as well as the fence, but they were on the very edge of the frame and I felt they were distracting. It hurt my heart to crop them out, but for the sake of art....lol.
