MS Serenissima - a photo on Flickriver

MS Serenissima

            This is the ship which took us from Grand Cayman to Antigua via Cuba, The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Montserrat where this photograph was taken.  The ship, which is Russian-owned, carries a maximum of 100 passengers but on our cruise there were only 62.

To be honest, this cruise wasn't plain sailing.  There were lots of problems and the ship itself wasn't the elegant, wood-and-brass vessel it looks like.  The cruise was operated by the UK company Noble Caledonia, a company we have sailed with before, but probably not again.  I'm happy with my photos though!
