Joe and I at Poplar Bluff, MO - a photo on Flickriver

            Retired MP/UP Road Foreman of Engines Joe Falvey and I pose in front of 844 for our good friend Craig Meador to snap a photo of us.  I've known Joe since I was about 5 and he's been a mentor and friend when it comes to railroading ever since.  He spent 42 years on the Mo-Pac and UP, retiring from an office in the depot at the left in 1991.

Joe passed away on February 24, 2015.  I still catch myself thinking I need to give him a call.  His wife Bobbi of over 62 years lives in St. Louis now.  His son Rodger Paul Falvey retired from the UP in 2014 after putting in a career as a conductor with the Mo-Pac and UP.
