200923 / Steel Beach and Student Center

            The Coast Guard Academy proudly opened 2 new student facility renovations in Leamy Hall, Sept 23, 2020.

Supported by the classes of 1961, 1967, 1970, 2007 and the Chief Petty Officer Association, the Steel Beach is a renovated balcony space now equipped with outdoor furniture, and the Student Center is a cafe with tables, booths, and a coffee shop.
