What did you study? Conservation Biology

What’s your favorite thing about working for FWS? 

I like the interactions I have with the public when I’m out and about wearing my uniform. Every time I fill my FWS vehicle with gas, someone will stop to ask me about a bird they saw or tell me about a recent fishing trip.
  
What’s your favorite species and why? 
My favorite species in Kansas is the Pileated Woodpecker. They have so much personality and it’s hard not to think about the Ivory-billed Woodpecker when you see one.
