The Farman pusher biplane Gnôme 7-cylinder rotary engine, seem at Trouville - Le Havre [France, 1909]

            Henry Farman constantly revised his aeroplane designs in the early times, just as all early companies. As new / changed types appeared in quick succession iand in in the absence of a clear contemporary identificaytion system, machines can only be described.
Seen here is the 1910 vintage Henry Farman pusher biplane fitted with a Gnôme rotary engine rated at 50 hp. The design seems to be stripped of all 'unnecessary' pieces. So the single elevator is in front, the pilot sits (without any safety belt) on the edge of the lower wing on a very small chair. The tail section has been simplified to just one rudder and one elevator. Long skids with double wheels and just visible small wheels at the end of the skids.
Martinet is actually Robert Martinot according to the official listing of the Vieilles Tiges,  who acquired the L'Aéroclub de France licence No.78 on 17 May 1910.
