Dollcanon Abbey, Gil and Lagoona - a photo on Flickriver

            Some people have headcanon for certain fandoms. For Monster High, I have dollcanon. I mostly follow canon for thinking of the characters in general, but my own dolls have a world of their own.

This really started when I got my Skull Shores Gil and saw how gorgeous he was. I decided to pair him with Abbey, since the whole mess with Lagoona was getting unresolved in the webisodes and I wasn't satisfied with them as a couple. 

So my current dollcanon for the trio is that Abbey and Lagoona both like Gil, but he prefers Abbey, who's a bold, strong girl. My Gil isn't the wuss you see in the webisodes either. He's a much stronger guy. Their dynamic is kind of like the Betty, Archie, Veronica triangle. Lagoona is the desperate, goody goody Betty, while Abbey is the independent, strong girl who does what she wants. Like Veronica, she never really acts like she needs Archie. It seems like it's more about the chase and about getting Gil away from Lagoona. But she does care about him. She just doesn't like to show it.
