A bonnett, of sorts - a photo on Flickriver

            A pair of GE's lead an eastbound manifest freight near Stanley, North Dakota a few days ago on a cold and windy winter day.  Even though #709 was never adorned in true Santa Fe paint since it was built a bit after the merger, it's still a nice flashback to my younger days prior to BNSF.  It's a "fakebonnett" that hasn't aged badly since being built in 1997, continuing to look good as a leader.  (2-15-2024)
