Montgomery County Courthouse - Clarksville, Tennessee

            The Montgomery County Courthouse was the sixth to be built in Clarksville (the seventh is the new courts complex partially visible to the right) and was begun in 1879.  The building has had a rather checkered past for a tornado damaged the roof in 1884, the upper floors and clock tower burned in 1900, and an F3 tornado damaged the building yet again in 1999.  Rebuilt each time, visitors would be hard-pressed to see any signs of damages now.  

More experimentation on my part this evening during an unseasonably warm spell (51F at dusk!)...  (2-14-2011)
