Continuing with the square format as way to "bring it down" from a 'widescreen' reading to something more intimate. I think of it as going from writing symphonies to nice, tight little string quartets.

This little series sees me pushing myself into an area I am very resistant to go into - self portraiture. I've never been one to flaunt my face or sign my work in a visible way. I want the work to speak for itself and my main motivation is NOT self promotion. So the image rules, not me and my personality.

But here I thought it might interesting to include a face in amongst the imagery and since I'm the most available face to use, here I am. Straight shots and Pano-Sabotage, blended together.

This particular shot of me, one of my favourites, was taken in the Summer of 2001 by a good friend, Craig Currah. A very talented artist himself and a very unique mind, he really captured something here like no else ever did. This is dedicated to him.
