NYC: Banksy: Genius or Vandal? - Pulp Fiction

            Pulp Fiction, a 2004 limited print release, portrays Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in their iconic characters from Quentin Tarantino's celebrated movie, but with the ironic twist replacing their guns with bright yellow bananas, reminiscent of Andy Warhol's iconic 1967 album cover for the The Velvet Underground & Nico.  Banksy's Pulp Fiction image first appeared as a large stenciled mural near Old Street tube station in London in 2002.  It was visible until 2007 when the Transport for London painted over the walls.

Banksy: Genius or Vandal? was an immersive experience dedicated to the work of famous England-based street artist Banksy.   Featuring more than 80 authenticated original works from private collections curated by Moscow-based Alexander Nachkebiya, the unauthorized interactive exhibition has been presented in 15 cities around the world, including in New York City, at 526 Sixth Avenue, from September 2021 through July 2022.
