Zig-Zag Spider

            Ventral view of Argiope aurantia, a Black & Yellow Garden Spider. Note the characteristic zig-zag pattern in the web. Neighbor of the beast posted yesterday. Without the monopod/remote process described there this is as close as 360mm equivalent will get me. I like this because the background is one huge lotus leaf. This gives a clear view of the spider, the web, and the pond.
