            I must admit that I am going to coast for another day and bore you’ll with some test shots from my new camera. I actually got a Panasonic DMC-FZ200 for Christmas and have taken a number of test shots with it but had not done much with them.  It is a light P/S camera that I can carry easily and hopefully I can get a few of those shots that I’ve missed over the years when the big gear is at home.  These are all in the auto mode and so they are nothing special.  I am quite impressed at the overall image quality and think the long run that it was a good choice. It is not pocketable, but it is something that I can easily sling over my shoulder and be off with it. 

Since I did not take the large lens with me on vacation, this was my only camera available when I encountered the whale that had not headed north in Hawaii. Will have to look at the photos tomorrow.
