            Remarkable rebuild/new build apartments and, um, er... well, *I* like it. Better than the usual McMansion broken-up facade. As a child born in the 1950s, I grew up and appreciated uncomplicated, rectangular, box-shaped houses. 2 stories, 4 walls, front door in front, sliding door in back. Integral, semi-detached or physically separate garage. 

I enjoy this building / "building cluster". The large size, different upper and lower treatments and slight trim variations make the conceit of an organic, "found", multi-building, spread over time, shape, plausible.  I dislike suburban houses with 4 foot square, empty columns holding up a roof overhang, and exterior walls that wander like a mosaic meander, consuming twice as much lumber, or more, than the simple box. 

Growing-up I lived in 2 places I have no memory of,, then  happily in a box + garage, 1 story, a box with basement duplex,  another box + attached garage 1 story,  a 2 story box with basement and integral garage, a T shaped ,1 story with integral garage, a 2 story  pure box with an integral, 2 car,  garage, and left home from an irregular T shape 1 story. Not a meandering exterior wall in the bunch.
