"Dallas" - a photo on Flickriver

"Dallas"

            Dallas is currently living in a shelter in Milwaukee and is working to save money to get a bus ticket back to his own state of Texas. The last job did not go so well. Some guy drove up to the shelter and offered him work. His boss said he could pay him after 5 days when he gets money. Long story short the guy never showed up again and got 5 days of free labor at Dallas's expense. I am told that this is not an uncommon experience with the homeless.
