Very thinly sliced

This will be the last post of the ancient dunes from around Lake Powell for awhile. The fine layers of the 200 million year old sand dunes that make up the Navajo Formation emerge as erosion removes the coarse soil covering them. The leading lines lead to more lines that become our subject. I spent a long time looking for lines that led to views of the surrounding buttes, but the dune layers would not cooperate.
