Tables of Fire

            A dramatic scene from Navy Beach at Mono Lake, CA.
I've been reading through the book of Exodus recently and read about the design of the temple and the alter of sacrifice where animals were slaughtered and burned as a sin offering, to atone for the sins committed by the Israeli people.  The alter was like a table, which these tufa and fiery sky reminded me of, hence the title.
