grass tussocks | Sligachan | Isle of Skye

I stumbled upon this lochan and gained some respite from the wind and rain now coming from behind me. The background was less satisfactory but the warm tussocks of grass dotted over the lochan were the main interest in the scene. Then it was back to Portree for a chance to dry the gear and enjoy a welcome cup of coffee.

In early 2020, I contacted the John Muir Trust and offered them the use of images to help promote the Trust's work. They were most grateful and initially identified sixteen of my landscape photographs associated with areas of Scotland under their stewardship.
