The plant Monstera Deliciosa (fam.philodendron). This is an experimental macro taken from far, from the furthest point where I could still focus on the mesmerizing blooming flower/fruit.
Shot in natural light and positioned frontally vs the sunlight.
At present, my monstera is about 1.65 mt tall. Here it's photographed more than its half hight in the upper part.
Why are the leaves reversed vs the flower frontal direction?
Well, as far as I had confirmed from the observation of this and another smaller Monstera of mine which later on bloomed its flower too, when the bud is still closed, the upper leaves gradually rise, turn and cluster around the flower (and its lower new born derivation, visible here in the shape of sort of two fingers) in order to protect them from excessive direct light.
Therefore, if & when there is a flower growing, the leaves appear all reversed & crooked, if compaired with the frontal side of the flower.
Poetically it seems they don't want to turn their backs on the newborns, welcoming + embracing them from their right side.

This photo reflects my initial upload & edit. The edit is almost raw, so to speak, almost no edit at all, except my watermark. The white of the flower is there but the overall compo looses the true brightness of the green tones in the reversed side of the leaves, as seen&shot at direct sunlight, so I went 4 the reddit already posted in my stream at this link: www.flickr.com/photos/white-angel/51522185256/in/photostr...

I am presently still willing to test this untouched version of my photo, especially because the leaves in semi-shade can interest me to give more importance to the flower blossoming, and the chalk white of the flower is as it was at that stadium of growth, not yellowish like in the slightly edited version above mentioned & linked, so I will post my unedited photo here on Oct. 6 2021 evening.
