            Yesss! Even parrots kiss each other, they do! They have their preferences & each one has a different personality but it may hap they become friends and very empathetic one another.
This poster documents an exceptional sequence that in reality leasted very long, a 35 minutes kissing session!
Parrots cuddle, caress, comb, feed and even kiss each other not only when they pair. When they like each other, they do for friendship too, to strenghten their relationship and they can do also if they belong to the same gender, male male or female vs female as in this case.
I must say that Punky is the sweetest parrot on earth, she has taken care of all the puppies of the different broods and this kissing is truly a tender gesture like a mom vs her children or a sister vs a smaller sister. 
The extraordinary thing is that they relaxed and felt at ease even in my presence. I kept silent and let them play but I was ready with my camera to frame this unforgettable moment that now can be shared with more and more people :-)
It all begun with Lidl combing her own plumes and Punky watching at her and approaching her more an more...When Punky reached the same branch in a little lower position, Lidl approached her crest and begun to comb her tuft of plumes. Then they cuddled one another caressing reciprocally their necks until they begun to kiss each other...
The whole kissing and cuddling session has leasted 35 minutes at least and this poster is just a summary of the salient phases but I took many more photos where they also cuddle, comb reciprocally their tuft of feathers and caress one another, especially their necks (they love to be caressed at their neck, some also at their back and face, especially their cheeks).

When a parrot lowers its head deferentially to receive caresses from its fellow mates but also from a human being,  it means that it likes you and trusts you.
