Snow Buntings Plectrophenax nivalis - a photo on Flickriver

            This flock of Snow Buntings are flying between the golf green and the shingle beach when the golfers come round to the holes near the feeding area. The largest flock I've seen and they are easily disturbed. In contrast when I've seen single snow buntings  they are very tame and easy to approach. There seem to be lots of photographs of snow buntings this year from different areas of the country. Sandwich Kent
