Scratch My Back With A Lightning Bolt!

            Well last night had the opportunity to make that attempt to capture lightning from my deck. It has been one of those photographs that has eluded me since I've lived where I live. It was quite a light show of nature. After about fifteen attempts this was the shot that was a keeper. It was a fifteen second exposure. However, the streamers of lightning (cloud to cloud lightning) in the upper left hand corner made me call it a night. The streamers were getting awfully close to the house and me under the deck. I'm sure I'll have more chances, and no photograph is worth my well-being as I learned from my days of covering the news.
