1923 Henry Ford Tipple at Nuttallburg West Virginia

In 1920 Henry Ford purchased the Nuttallburg Coal Mine. His son Edsel was in charge of the mine and designed the conveyor and tipple system that shown. Operated as the Fordson Coal Company until sold in 1928 to the New River Mining Company. Now part of the National Park Service.
