Last Days of the Watering Hole 01 - a photo on Flickriver

            Walking through the Grassmarket in the Old Town today, some people enjoying drinks inside and outside the many old pubs there (some of these boozers were old when Robert Burns first stayed in them on his Edinburgh visits!). With Covid surging again, new mini-Lockdown protocols come into effect at 6pm this evening, including closing all the pubs and restaurants again. So these people were enjoying the last couple of hours before the shutters come back down for a few weeks, thought I would take a few quick snaps.

On another note, what the hell is up with Flickr? Noticed several outtages this week - site going extremely slow or timing out altogether, then it has been down almost all day today. Been trying to upload pics since this morning, only now after ten at night can I get to do so. Queries to Flickr Help just came back with sorry, we're working on a problem. Very frustrating.
