The Days Gone By (explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            We found this slate bench seat along the Hudson River, near the Gazebo in the Mills-Norrie State Park, NY, built by the CCC back in the 1930s. I have found seats like this along rivers nearby to CCC or WPA builds, as with two of our own county parks here in Genesee County, Michigan. Have a picnic in the nearby gazebo and then sit along the river with your best girl, like the days gone by. Here's to remembering all of you who built our parks that we still enjoy today.
