Diamond lantern, 2020

            The placing of the vintage lantern at the Auburndale railroad diamond, was some of our doings. It was a concept of mine, that we carried out. I visualized the previous adjacent scene,  and we drove some 50 miles to do it. This was recent, and continuation of years of our ongoing "fun and adventure".
The Auburndale diamond was chosen over the Plant City diamond, as it could be done without a lit up nighttime scene, and 24 hour Virtual Railfan video monitoring. Also, access to the Auburndale diamond was easy, and there would essentially be no one there. It was Dark under the US 92 double  overpass, however.
Behind Val's legs is her cane for help in walking to the location and on the railroad ballast. I am close to needing a cane, myself. Photos Aug. 15, 2020.
