SNCF AGC BiBi 82771 @ Braine-le-Comte 🇧🇪

Herinneren jullie jullie deze foto nog? Wel... nadat het stel dus voor de eerste testrit richting Braine-le-Comte was gespoord, haastte ik me naar Ecaussinnes. De AGC zou namelijk vanuit Braine-le-Comte een ritje doen over L117 naar Manage.

Maar... wegenwerken en vooral het gebrek aan correcte signalisatie zorgden ervoor dat ik redelijk wat tijd verloor. Ik kon dus alleen maar kijken hoe het stel me voorbijreed terwijl ik de straat naar het spotplekje insloeg...

De voorziene 'foto twee' van dit stel viel dus in het water. Maar goed, ik had wel nog een derde plekje op het oog. De AGC zou vanuit Manage namelijk terug naar Soignies sporen en daarbij over de enkelsporige verbindingslijn 96/1 (verbindt L117 met L96) rijden en dat werd dus mijn volgende doel.

Onderweg zag ik dan ook nog een 'man met een fototoestel' stappen naar dit plekje... ik stopte even en het bleek Julien te zijn.

Samen begonnen we dus op de AGC te wachten terwijl de wolken steeds meer en meer voor de zon schoven. Het werd dus nog een echte thriller maar gelukkig voor ons verliep deze rit nog (net) in het zonnetje ;-)

A test train from Manage to Soignies, driven by an AGC BiBi of SNCF, was seen in Braine-le-Comte. The installation of TBL1 + was tested on this train. TBL1 + is a Belgian rail protection system. It must prevent trains from passing through a red signal.
