SR 410 covering our tracks - a photo on Flickriver

            In the summer of 2014, contractor crews seismically retrofit the supporting columns of the SR 410 Scatter Creek Bridge near Enumclaw, WA. 

The crews placed steel jackets around the bridge piers which will help keep the piers stable and reduce the risk of collapse in the event of an earthquake. 

Finishing up the project involves cleanup too... and that means covering our tracks. 

The access road was cleaned up and replanted with native vegetation. It may take several years, but eventually it will be difficult to tell there was once an access road.
